# Alter Character Response Audio Rate

This document explains how to alter the character response audio rate.

* Open your character blueprint which contains the <mark style="color:green;">`Convai Chatbot`</mark> component.
* Click <mark style="color:green;">`Class Settings`</mark> and then <mark style="color:green;">`Convai Chatbot`</mark> component.
* On the right-hand side <mark style="color:green;">`Details`</mark> panel under the <mark style="color:green;">`Sound`</mark> section modify the <mark style="color:green;">`Pitch Multiplier`</mark>.

* A value greater than 1 will ramp up the speed and vice-versa.
